Saskatchewan jobs in demand is one of the International Skilled Worker streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) operated by the province of Saskatchewan. The expression of interest may be presented by the candidate with experience in one of the on-demand positions in Saskatchewan and with enough score in the SINP Points Assessment Grid.

There are 100 items in the SINP Points Assessment Grid. Applicants must earn at least 60 points to be eligible for the program. Please be advised that candidates will be required to submit their SINP application supporting evidence that shows the 60 point criteria has been complied with.

Program Requirements:

1. Express Entry Profile – No
2. Connection to Province – No
3. Job offer – No 
4. Language proficiency – CLB 4
5. Education – Post-secondary 1 year
6. Work Experience – 1 year at NOC level A, B, or 0 (cannot be in an occupation listed on the SINP Excluded Occupation List)
7. Settlement Fund – No

Points Assessment Grid:

In the Point Assessment Grid for nomination, you must earn a minimum of 60 points out of 110 points.

You are awarded points on the basis of five factors:

• Education and training
• Skilled work experience
• Language ability
• Age
• Connections to the Saskatchewan (job market and family)

To support the qualifying requirements and points considerations, you must attach papers. For instance, you must include a copy of your university grade and entire transcripts if you claim 20 points for your university degree. You must also include a translated version when your degree is written in a language other than French or English.

What is an International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest (EOI)?

An International Skilled Worker EOI is not an application to the SINP.

It is a pre-application process that allows candidates to fill out a form to indicate their interest in applying to the SINP.

Not all candidates who submit an International Skilled Worker EOI will be invited to apply to the SINP. There are no limits on the number of candidates who can submit an EOI. Candidates can only have one EOI profile.

Who Cannot Apply Through the International Skilled Worker Category: Sakkatchewan jobs in demand?

Refugee claimants cannot apply to the Government of Canada claiming refugee status in Canada.

You may not be eligible if any of the following situations is true:

• Failed to submit documentation as requested by SINP
• Could not demonstrate that in Saskatchewan your desire to live and work is true
• You and/or your agent were not true to the request or application

After you receive an Invitation to Apply through the Expression of Interest system:

• Follow the guidelines for the Application Process
• Complete, scan, and submit all of your Required Documents
• Refer to the SINP Important Words and Definitions to understand what is needed

Applications submitted or not translated with missing documentation will be closed. You will get a letter and be invited to resubmit if your application is closed.
