Canada immigration program Home Child Care Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot Program

❏ What is this program? 

– This program will run for 5 years (Started June 2019) 

– This program will give you & your family PR after qualifying. 

❏ Main Requirements: 

1. Education: Degree, Diploma or certificate or higher ( Equivalent to Canadian 

post-secondary Education) 

– Obtain ECA report from the 

Organization Designated by IRCC for the Assessment (if the degree is from 

outside) 

– World Education Service (WES)

2. Language Proficiency: IELTS (General) – CLB Level – 5 

– Reading 4.0 

– Writing 5.0 

– Listening 5.0 

– Speaking 5.0 

3. Job Offer: 

– Full time ( at least 30 hours of paid 

work/ per week) 

– Must be the NOC 4411 or NOC 4412 and 

– Made using the offer of employment IMM 5983

1.Travel Documents: passport. 

2.Language Proficiency: IELTS certificate.

3.Education Documents: Certificate, ECA Report. 

4.Police certificate 

5.Medical test

❏ How to Apply: 

– Apply to Home Child Care Provider Pilot or the Home Support Worker Pilot 

– Submit a work permit application together with your PR application 

– Get an occupation-restricted open work permit 

– Get 24 Months of work experience 

– Get PR 

❏ Fees – 

– Application Fees: 

● Processing Fees – $550 

● Permanent Residency fees – $500 

● Biometrics – $85 

● Work Permit – $155

● Open work permit – $100

❏ Work experience: 

– Home child care provider – NOC 4411 or Home support worker – NOC 4412 

– At least 24 months of full-time work experience in Canada 

– Acquire in the 36 months prior to submission of your proof of work experience 

❏ Submit proof of ability to perform work: 

– Proof of relevant work experience either paid or unpaid 

– Copies of relevant education credentials or training
